Scuba diving in Tahiti is very popular with the best dive sites on Bora Bora and in the Tuamotu Islands. There is world class surfing around the main island of Tahiti with other good surfing spots off Moorea and Huahine. Game fishing is well catered for on most islands with Marlin and Yellow-fin Tuna the prize game. The best place for general water activities (wind surfing, kite surfing, tube rides and water skiing) is on the north west coast of Moorea at Hauru Point and on Bora Bora, particularly at Matira Beach on the south coast where.
